Great and Amazing Websites. Bizarre and Random Thoughts.

I am looking for good fitness music.

Lately, I have been telling myself I will be going back to the gym just as soon as I gather all the tools I need. For me, I can’t just throw on any old pair of sweats and a t-shirt and go have a great workout. I have to feel good to go to the gym. Important for me are new shoes, new workout pants, shorts, and shirts, and new workout and fitness music.

I’m a big fan of electronic (techno) music. I have been searching the internet lately and found a few sites that offer some good, high energy fitness music. In particular, WorkoutMixes.com has some really awesome trance, dance, breaks, and house music mixes that I don’t think can be found anywhere else on the internet nor in stores. There are previews for all the workout music on the site and they all sound great. That music makes me file like I’m in a really good dance club and I know that anytime I hear good music in a night club, it gets my mood uplifted.

Another site that I was happy to find during my hunt for good fitness music was GoodFitnessMusic.com. On this site, there were in-depth fitness music reviews of all the more popular fitness music websites. I found this really helpful. I did a more specific web search for fitness music reviews and couldn’t find anything else like it.

If anyone else knows of good fitness music, please leave a comment and let me know.

Power Runnining Music Mix Fitness Music CD

Another great fitness mix has been released from the new and exciting fitness and workout music site, WorkoutCD.com. The title of the new fitness mix is “Power Running Volume 1″. This is the first running music mix added to their collection of downloadable, fitness music mix cds.

fitness running music mixPower Running Music Mix is a unique and original electronic dance music mix designed, created, and produced with fitness runners in mind. This music mix contains and is compiled of over 45 minutes of motivating, rhythmic beats that a perfect for a runner who is seeking help to maintain a medium to fast pace run.

There’s no arguing the fact that music is an essential tool used by fitness minded and active people. One of the most tedius tasks inolved in any serious workout or training program is cardio, more specifically running. Everyone knows how beneficial to the body running can be. Most people also dread having to get their running done. This running music mix is designed to make running easier and more enjoyable.

There are many fitness music sites and stores offering what many people consider to be sub-par and downright boring music. A search for fitness music online at the popular website, Amazon.com shows a long list of results. If a potential fitness music customer takes a look at the reviews for these so called “fitness mixes” will deliver poor ratings by customers who have bought these “fitness mixes”. The reason for this is that most distributers of fitness music usually put together a lame list of overplayed pop music songs that are set and remixed to “dance beats”. Today’s modern fitness minded person will be very disappointed with this music. To put it plainly, these mixes are boring and extremely lame. WorkoutCD.com’s fitness music store strives hard to produce enjoyable, high-energy fitness music mixes that are original and contemporary.

“Power Running V1″ running music mix has already been purchased, downloaded, and listened to during running and other fitness activities by many runners and other athletes. The feedback reported has been great. Some customers would say that “Power Running Volume 1″ is the best fitness music for runners.

fitness music workout cd

I am a person who likes to hit the gym 4-5 times each week. I’ve lept this routine of working out at the gym for the past 10 years of my life. Since I was 15, I have always found music to be a great tool and a powerful aid for fitness. With the right music, my spirit is uplifted, my mood is positively elevated, my motivation is increased, my stamina can seem endless, and overall, it just makes me feel good.
I love WorkoutCD.com. It’s my kind of music. I like to listen to electronic dance music while I workout. It reminds me of having a fun night out with friends and hitting the dance floor. I also like to listen to harder electronica when I’m trying to do a seriously intense workout. WorkoutCD.com caters to my music needs when it comes to having good music to listen to while I’m at the gym or health club working out or doing some cardio to burn off that 2nd or 3rd helping of food I had the night before.

At the time of this posting, there were already three available.

techno workout music The first workout cd I listened to (all workout mixes and tracks on the site have a nice audio preview in flash) was Hi-Energy Workout Mix V1. There are some seriously good tunes in this mix. If I could describe it to anything, I would have to say it’s electronica with good vocals. This would be a great mix to workout or to run to. I can see it really setting the tone for your next trip to the weightroom or your favorite cardio machine. I would also love to listen to this mix while I’m driving in my car on the way to the gym to get “pumped up”. I really like this one.

trance fitness music workout cdThe next fitness music workout cd I listened to was called “Trance Workout Mix Volume 01″. I love trance music and I love listening to trance when I’m at the gym. The great beats and the rhythm which is like a progressive guide to your workout is perfect for when I’m exercising. This mix rocks. There aren’t too many vocals or vocal samples in this mix. What you get when you buy and download this trance workout fitness mix are crisp, clear beats and synths with great buildups and pumping beats on each and every track.

breaks breakbeat fitness music workout cdThe third fitness music workout cd that I saw for sale on workoutCD.com was call “High-Energy Workout Mix V2″. This is my favorite fitness music workout mix cd of all. This is a “breaks” or “breakbeat” mix. It’s a serious energy booster. It’s like bringing the energy of a packed dance club into your ears and exploading through your body as you workout. This is a serious modd and motivation lifter. The beats a re fresh. There are lots of good vocals both male and female throughout the entire mix. It’s just about the best mix I have ever listened to while working out. If you have been searching your local music stores or online for music that’s up to date and a real joy to listen to while working out, I would definitely get this mix. It’s only $9.99 and once you buy it from the site, you get to download it instantly. From there you can quickly burn it to a cd or copy the mp3’s over to your portable mp3 player.

What’s currently available at workoutCD.com is only the tip of the iceberg. Right now, only the personal workout mixes are available for purchase and instant download. As this fitness music store’s library of completely original music mixes and tracks expands, there will be many more categories of fitness music to choose from. The followinf will be a roundup of what is soon to be added to workoutcd.com.

Aerobics Class MusicAerobics Class Music
WorkoutCD.com will offer music for aerobics instructors and cardio instructors to use when training and teaching their cardio classes. The music is made specifically for cardio classes. The BPM (beats per minute) for each mix is listed and stays constant through the entire mix to help keep your class in tune. With these cardio mixes, trainers and instructors are going to help their students stay within the rhythm because with these mixes, the music has great variety which will keep everyone entertained but never changes tempo and the beat never drops off. Now, instructors of step classes, cardio classes, spinning classes, kickboxing classes, and every other group exercise will have available to them fresh beats with steady beats per minute which will keep everyone happy. Big selling points for these cardio music mixes are the facts that the music is fresh and uplifting without being cheesey (please people, stop playing those lame disco/pop dance remix cardio mixes) and the fact that the music on these mixes are original, high-energy tracks which stick with a specific BPM.
