So here I am, watching NFL football and stuffing my face with all kinds of Thanksgiving deliciousness, when I get sideswiped by the horrible singing of the Jonas Brothers.  What kind of shit is this?  I used to think halftime shows for NFL games were fucking weak but this really crosses the line.  It’s bad enough that every game today was a blowout but now I have to hear this shit.  If you’re listening to the Jonas brothers, you most likely have never been to a homegame for your local pro team, have no idea what your local team’s record is, don’t know shit about football, and probably suck cock.  Guess what fruity pants, a tight end is not just what you call your boyfriend.

So I live in a big, old house with two roommates.  Our electricity bill is so ridiculously high when it’s hot outside.  Now it’s getting cold.  It’s too damn cold right now!  If each of had a little space heater running, would that be cheaper than turning on the gas powered central heat?  Most of the time it would only be me with my space heater on during the day and then those two would sleep with one on as well as I at night.  If you know which would cost less, leave a comment and let me know.  Also let me know why you think it would or wouldn’t. I can’t believe it. In just a few days I will be 28 years old. Most days I still feel like I’m 21. Unfortunately, most days, I still act like I’m 21. All I own is my car and way too many gadgets. I still spend every extra dollar on partying or just buying things that make me feel better for only a day or so. I’ve been working really hard lately so hopefully when I’m about to turn 29 I can post something a litle sunnier.

I fired up an older computer of mine and hooked it up to my kvm switch.  Wow.  It’s been over two years since I’ve turned this thing on.  I have been working a lot lately and sometimes I don’t want to slow my “good” computer down when I’m doing things like converting videos, running anti-spyware and anti-virus softwares, etc.

It’s like a trip back in time using this older computer.  I cleaned it up and have it ready to go.  I uninstalled some really outdated security software and have been searching for some new security software.  Since this computer is only rocking a 1.7mhz AMD with 512mb RAM, I need to keep speed in mind.  I wanted something light on the resources but still held to a high standard.  I ended up downloading Comodo Anti-Virus.

Man, it’s hot as shit in here now with two desktops running!

Wow! What a great game today. It was so nice to see the Saints coast to a victory. I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t sweating in the fourth quarter os a Saints game. Drew Brees is the man. I hope he breaks passing records and gets mvp this year. Even more, I hope the Saints get to the playoffs. I can only imagine how much more potent our offense will be once Colstom, Patten, and the rest of the injured Saints players return. Even Jason David got an interception today which is amazing. Man, Jamarcus Russell sucks!

My hats stink. I wear them all the time.  After a week of going out, wearing my hats to the gym, and generally wearing my head wear all the time, my hats start to smell bad.  Usually, I just spray Axe or Febreeze all over my hats and then they smell good but only for a short while.  I pay a good amount of money for my hats, usually $20 - $40 and I would like to not waste those purchases by throwing my hats in the washer and drier and then ending up with a soft, shrunken  hat that I no longer want to wear.

I googled “how to wash a hat” and will provide you with the best links I found.  What I am looking to find is a way to clean my hats without them shriking, fading, or becoming flat or soft.

I am aware that there are those plastic, wire looking cages you can put your hat in and then toss in the dishwasher.  I have used these before and my hat still ended up changing shape and shrinking.

Some golf people shared their hat washing ideas, tips, and tricks.

After doing some research, I’m going to try a hand wash in warm water then I will rinse in cold and let it air dry.  If this doesn’t work, I’m going to wash my hat by itself in the washing machine on a delicate cycle then let it air dry.  My air drying will be done outside.  I hope no one walks by and  steals it/them.

It’s summer which means sports for me right now really sucks.  I love to watch the NFL but I still have a few months until regular season starts.  I like playoff basketball but I have another 4 days until the finals between the Celtics and Lakers begins.  MLB is going on righ tnow but I hate baseball.  The game is too slow and the players come off as too sloppy and too lazy to me.  WNBA has starter their season. I’m not interested.

I’ve watched a few WNBA games in my life.  I must say, I wasn’t impressed.  While I do understand that it takes more skill to drain a 20-foot jumper than it does to dunk a basketball, to sit through an entire WNBA game and not see one dunk is fucking brutal.  You would think with the lack of dunking ability, these women would have learned how to make some super fancy layups. Nope.  Shit, these women are still many years removed from consistently making wide open layups. The WNBA will be long gone before the female athletes being paid to play the game will have the skill to shoot over 35% from the field.

During a night of complete boredom, I started searching for WNBA bloopers but couldn’t find a single video.  Each game of WNBA basketball is full of bloopers. I’m talking multiple air-balls,  blown layups, and poorly handled passes.  Whyis there no publicly available footage of WNBA bloopers?  Are these women too sensitive to have such media shown to the public in some type of well organized, edited, possibly commentated presentation?  This is bullshit.

I bought an extended life battery for my Samsung Blackjack I.  The battery and door combo was on Amazon.com for 1/3 the price wanted by my local AT&T store.  Now I can use my Blackjack all day and night without worrying about it dying on me. In one Day I can keep 3G turned on while using it to reed rss feeds while I shit, check all of my email accounts (3) automatically every hour, listen to 1 - 2 hours of streaming music while at the gym, send and receieve about 10-20 text messages everyday, and talk to my girlfrien don the phone for 5-10 minutes each day.

With the regular battery, my phone could not even stay on as a phone all day without needing a charge.

I’ve been hitting refresh on Fedex’s site for an hour and a half now…..since about 6:00 AM. It’s 7:21 AM now and I just recently saw an update to the status of my package which shipped from an Amazon.com facility in New Castle, Delaware yesterday. My copy of GTA IV, Special Edition, is only a few miles away from me.

Some hard working men and women are probably loading the truck my game will be delivered in right now. Please, oh please be careful. And please, oh please, don’t lose it. The question now is, where in line is my package as far as delivery time? Will my Rockstar/GTA IV faux safe deposit box filled with goodies like a GTA IV soundtrack, duffel bag, and book of special game art be delivered at 9AM or 5PM? I really hope it’s the former.

I plan on playing the shit out of this game. I am looking for an escape from the realities of my shitty little life. Work is slow for me right now, I’ve been having issues with the girlfriend, and my bank account is low. What better way to fix all of that than to play a videogame all day and night then probably all day the following day before I have to tear myself away tomorrow evening to go to the gym and fulfill my obligation to satify my girlfriend and then sleep over at her place?

jason kidd is having a hell of a time guarding…..well…..anyone. kidd is too slow to guard chris paul or pargo and is too small to guard peja. jason’s getting dominated and tonight he seemed to lose control and break from his frustration as he grabbed pargo by the back of his neck and slammed him down to the floor. kidd was ejected and the hornets coasted to a 3-1 series lead. the hornets havent won in dallas since january 24th, 1998. go hornets go!
