Yeah, I Said It. Firefox on the Wii
Alot of people have doubted the recent story on gamingphreak.com. You know the story, the one about the best internet browser in the world, Firefox, coming soon to the Nintendo Wii. All of you doubters and non-believers can just put a hault to your stone casting right now. So, do you want to know how I know that you’ll all know I know all Firefox fanboys will know the true internet surfing power of Nintendo Wii will be powered by the Mozilla/Firefox? I’ll bet you do. I really want to tell you, too. In fact, I’m going to tell you right now.
I was walking to the store to buy some milk when suddenly, I saw light glistening off of a bright red Slim Jim wrapper. I hadn’t even planned on buying any beef jerky. I only wanted some 2% milk. As I considered buying the chewy beef jerky, I soon remembered that it always gets stuck in my teeth. I remember the last time beef jerky was caught in my teeth. It was a cold, cold night in late November in the year 2004. I was walking to the store to buy some milk and was chewing beef jerky along the way. “What is this stinging, painful sensation in my mouth?” I thought to myself as a happily chewed along. “Oh, It’s beef jerky.” I concluded. After my staunt realization that the pain was related to the beef jerky, I swore to never chew it again. After more than two years had passed, I found myself wanting to betray my sworn enemy, beef jerky, and give in to the tempation.
It’s very difficult to put the emotions I have invested into eating or not eating beef jerky so I’m going to spare you the time it would take to read it all and just get onto how I know that the Firefox browser is coming to the Nintendo Wii.
During a late night Skype conversation, my sister mentioned to me how great the Wii was. I told her it seemed pretty darn good. She said it was better than good and that it was great. I said I don’t know if great is a good word for it but I would agree is you said it was good. She then told me how great she thought it was even though I was only saying I thought it was good. We eventually agreed on saying it was pretty good. This made us happy having argued for what seemed like an hour on whther or not the Nintendo Wii was good or great. I then asked her if she was going to use her Wii to surf the internet and she replied by teling me that she liked usinf Firefox on her laptop pc rather than surinf the ‘net on her Wii.
Earlier this week I was thinking of Satoru Iwata an how Chineesey his name is. I mean, really. It’s like SUPER Chineesey.
